week-end heroes
satire about sports, something, which, in general, I do not appreciate

This item requires reviews with ratings.
they're hormone hyped supermen
doing everything better than
us ordinary guys
running jumping, slamming smashing
dribbling tackling, swinging aiming
pure muscle, pure sex appeal
and they've got bank accounts
like mafia gangsters
or Wall Street golden boys
they wear diamonds in their ears
heavy gold chains around their necks
thousand dollar shoes
designer clothes
and bright red custom made
convertible cars
some say these sports heroes
don't have much gray matter
but hell, who cares
they make us dream
we root and cheer
get drunk with the gang
make bets on their scores
and bore our wives
taking about them
watching them every week-end
following their carreers
with envy but with
our stick-with-the-guys
masculine pride

week-end heroes
