mustard gas sting further angers them
it does not discourage youthful protest
it cannot offset people subjected to persecution
from expressing themselves
when they have collectively received
the last straw on the camel's back
the ideals of rebellion finally break out in fire and flame

ends up causing political combustion
forcing change on antiquated conceptions

we cannot remain slaves, we have the right to walk freely
we cannot be kept ignorant, we have the right to vote
we will not continue watching you become richer
in our poverty we have the right to seek our children’s future

for old-fashioned conversation has become impossible
violence is the only way to compel change
so that those oppressed may do more
than dream of shining
