The Game of Life
Within me grows a struggle, and confusion floods my mind with troubled thoughts that overflow, like rivers unconfined. I'm caught inside this whirlwind life, while time just slips away. I struggle just to stay ahead, forgetting how to play. I close my eyes in vain escape. Deep down a glow begins, and with it comes faint whisperings, the voices from within. "Look just beyond your crying mind. Hear Love's forgotten song. Your most important guide in life has been here all along." "Take time to live each moment full, it's not too late to start. The game of life cannot be won, just play with all your heart." (written with ABCB rhyme in iambic 8/6/8/6 syllables)
