STANDARDS
A poem about standards in our world.............

Standards

Standards are nothing.
They are made through perception…
There is no such thing as right and wrong.
Bad or Good, there is only perception.
Who are we to say who’s right?
Correct, what’s true, and what isn’t.
Who are you? Who am I? Well I am nobody.
Just another face, another voice, like anybody else.
No different from the rest, no better no worse.

There are lucky people who set these rules or standards which we live by.
But again I ask who are they?
No one.
Everyone on this planet must know that all we have, all we really have is each other.
Our happiness, Our integrity, and Beliefs.
Do what feels right, what makes You Happy.
Don’t worry what they will say or think.
And if we are lucky, and we don’t lose touch
