Letter to Oprah

Dear Miss. Winfrey:


Much of what I am going to say here you have already heard from me, and yet you know nothing about me. I have never had a peaceful moment in my life, and this disturbs me to the point I have determined to fix it. As long as one human being on the face of the earth does not have access to their God given right to share in the bounty, I shall not have that moments peace. After sixty-two plus years, I have realized this is not a difficult thing to accomplish, however, it is the greatest challenge we have ever faced. I say this because of the misdirection we as humans indulge in. We are like a highway repair crew; constantly running from one pothole to the next repairing holes in a road with a destination that is not where we are supposed to go. No matter how many patches we apply, we fail to focus on where that road leads, and accept we need a new road. Even more remarkable is the truth, that a better road is already built, and merely requires our taking the on-ramp.

“If a person enters a road, and travels long enough without exiting, they will arrive exactly where it leads.” I have written this saying many times and ways, and I am destined to try one more version. The road we currently travel is the highway of causation, and that causation represents all of the social illnesses we currently face (potholes); its destination is the destruction of human society on the face of the earth. Hmmm, that is not good, why-in-the-hell would anybody want to go there??? I know that nobody wants to go there, however, we remain so focused on the potholes (social illnesses), and we fail to truly address causation. No illness has ever been cured without addressing causation, and social illness is no exception. Education, raise the minimum wage, more money for health insurance, more welfare, raise Social Security benefits, these are all repairing the pothole philosophies, and while well intended will not suffice.

Let me take education as an example and show you the fallacy involved with believing it will fix the problem. Oprah, I know this is your pet hope for the social illness of the have-nots, however, if you will please read the following, perhaps we will produce a light bulb moment. PLEASE INDULGE ME, FOR THIS IS VITAL.

For clarity, I will confine this to our situation here in the United States; however, this truth applies equally to the world. Thirty-five plus million citizens at the poverty level or below and this is an unacceptable fact. Yet, we believe we can educate these people out of this condition, but this pothole is a mud bog, and we end up spinning our wheels. There are multiple factors of causation which make this so, and I shall demonstrate how these will prevent this from working.

One: We have a situation of generational learning. This is not the fault, or preference of this segment of society, rather it is a human nature factor where humans will take the path of least resistance. That is, humans will always take the path of survival, and if society does not offer a path, which produces self-worth, they are not helping these people. Hopelessness is the result of our current handout programs, as such is the case we have failed them.

Two: Reality must enter, and we must accept that there is a large segment of this population incapable of attaining the advanced educational requirements they will need in-order to thrive in our society. This does not reduce their basic human value; it merely means education can only go so far. We as a society must provide a system that addresses this basic right of human value. When we do this, we erase hopelessness. When this is done, humans have a unique propensity where they generally float to their highest level of achievement. This is a natural system based on their value, and which automatically empowers them to do so. Such a system does exist, and it is our responsibility to implement it.

Three: This will be highly controversial; however, I see no way it can be denied. Once educated, where are these members of society going to work? We currently are approximately 5% from a full employment figure, and that figure does not include these people. Expand the economy. Phew, we solved that problem. I am sorry, but that is not the case, and I shall attempt to show you why. I say attempt, because this issue is so complex, and interwoven it becomes very difficult to dissect in a comprehensible manner (I guess I must write a book about it.).

Let me start with. “Generational learning,” by explaining that this is a two-headed coin, The bottom has learned to be the bottom, however, the top has also learned to be the top…(Extremely well). Therefore, if we expand the economy, this will be a systematic process with each expansion leading to a bigger version of what currently exists; the road still has the same destination (some will escape, however, some will be brought down).

Ten-percent of society controls ninety-percent of its resources. This figure exists mainly because of, “Generational learning,” in other words the top has become so good at what they do; they have built a system which insures its perpetuation. However, there is another prime factor, and that is, our system was built from the top down. In other words, it was built by people of power, for people of power.

Here I will digress for a moment to state my view of the current, and all past social structures. For all of man’s time on earth, only two factors of economy have ever existed. Those factors are, owners, and slaves, for if you are not a true owner of resources, then you are delegated to work for those who are. Further, I say God placed his bounty here for all of his creations; therefore, it is vital that all must have access to this gift, or we do not honor God’s purpose.

The true way to eliminate the social illnesses of our current system is through a system, which erases this two-factor design. We must establish a system which honors every human being for their God granted right to share in the bounty. When we accomplish this, we will have taken the steps necessary to eliminate hopelessness. Picture the change engendered by such a system, and how all of the basic social illnesses will be impacted. When people know they are entitled, they will respond. This cannot be brought about by a giveaway program; it must be understood as their right.

There is a belief system termed chaos theory, and this theory says every action will produce a ripple effect producing reactions far beyond the simplicity of the initial act. This theory explains the failures we have always produced by our pothole patching approach. What I am trying to show is we must look at the whole, and then envision a different destination, for when we only address the problem, we cannot cure the causation.

Now, I have stated there is a system that will accomplish this goal, and here I will state it is a solution never before taken. Oh, it has always lurked in our sub-conscious; however, greed has held it at bay.

Why do I believe it can be brought into existence at this date? There has occurred a divine event that has opened the door for all of humanity, and this door cannot be closed without denying the foundation of America.

I contend the formation of America was a divine occurrence, created by God in-order to give man the opportunity to get it right. Here we have an event so monumental; divine is the only explanation. For the first time in man’s history rights were granted never before heard of. Rights and abilities, which for all of history had been against the law, became the law. “We hold these truths self evident, all people are created equal,” divine. “The right of private ownership, the right to vote, and choose, free enterprise,” and it is here that the open door exists.

It is time to sublimate these divine gifts to the level for, which they were meant. That purpose is the enfranchisement of all humanity, as God’s favored creations.

Great rhetoric, but do I truly believe we can change this situation? Yes, I know, for a fact, there is a way to accomplish exactly that of which I speak. Below I shall give you a glimpse of this effort, and then I must continue my efforts to prepare for my walk to Chicago. Of course, the reason I choose Chicago is you. I have always felt you to be a person with deep feelings of concern, and I believe you intelligent and motivated. Therefore, to Chicago I shall walk in hopes of receiving the boon …a chance to discuss, for but a moment, for if you grant me this, you will see, and if you see, you will react…my hoped for chaos theory, in communication.

There is not one thing stopping the masses of the America from becoming owners of capital, except the vision. Free enterprise gives us the right to own our own businesses. I have defined four areas of economy, which fall into the arena as belonging to all people.

One: banking and insurance.

Two: food, clothing, and shelter.

Three: medical care.

Four: education.

When we have addressed these areas of economy, we will have brought all people to the table of our society, and all can feast.

The entire purpose of my design is to achieve the elimination of the above divisive two factors of economy, and to make all citizens owners of capital resources. No longer will exist, the subliminal condition of slavery, rather an empowering sense of truly belonging to the system in which we live. In this manner, we can eliminate entitlement programs, and remove government handout programs. These are programs, (Social Security, Welfare), which stifle our souls, and hold us in thrall to the system, they divide us rather than make us a part of the whole.

So how do we take the four areas of economy, and apply them to the whole? Believe me when I say I have thought long and hard on this question. My thoughts have reached two solutions.

One: enlightenment, if enough people come to believe in themselves, and their right to these requirements of life, they cannot be stopped from having them.

Two: a benefactor of strong convictions can bring this about without any cost for their effort.

Methodology, this is so simply as to be invisible. I know because I have spent my entire life looking for this loophole, with which the pain I feel could be reduced.

I have termed this approach, Humanenomics,” and its impact is so profound, and the benefits so powerful, in one generation we will have addressed ninety-percent of all social illnesses. Furthermore, its impact upon the economy of our nation raises it to a pre-eminent position, and eliminates the boom, and recession rollercoaster of our current system. The economic credo I have coined for this effect is as follows, “The more money in a broad base of our economy, the stronger is that economy. The stronger is our economy, the stronger is our nation.” Feel free to ask any economist about the validity of this claim.

Step one on this road is Insurance. If one thousand people agree to start their own insurance company, based on my concept, it will become the largest insurance company in the world in ten years. One thousand people each giving twenty dollars a month equals two-hundred and forty thousand dollars in one year. This money is used to incorporate a “Neighborhood,” insurance company, and each person gets one share of stock. That stock issuance is the key, due to the fact nobody is to own more than that figure. You can see what happens when these owners pay exactly what they pay now, however, at the end of the year the profit is paid into an individuals retirement account. This payment is based on the profit percentage of the corporation being applied to how much they paid, and works exactly as an individual savings account. It should be apparent how fast this will expand, who would not jump at the opportunity to participate in such an endeavor? It does not matter how many people receive one share because their benefits come from their participation not the gouging of profit from others. There is never any dilution of profit regardless of number of shares issued. With competition, free enterprise, private ownership, we have built a better mouse trap.

The initial insurance issued is to be the required auto insurance, followed quickly by every other type of insurance needed in today’s complex world.

I hope it is apparent what is happening here. For the first time in history, all of the people who participate become owners of resources, and the profit stays at this lower level of society. It should further be understood this money is available however, these owners decide upon their retirement. It is their money and fully inheritable. The impact on the lower level of society is dramatic, and extremely beneficial to them, and our economy becomes stable. Now true and beneficial expansion can occur, and will into the other areas I have claimed as belonging to all citizens. The exact same format when applied to banking, food, and clothing, brings this bottom layer of our society up into the rarified atmosphere of owners, and lifts forever the onus of benevolent slavery.

The great question is, how about those too poor to participate for even twenty dollars? I say God’s instruction books are clear in this matter, the giving of alms, rendering up of ten-percent of the increase, the effort of us all reaching out to our fellow man solves this problem. In one generation, they have been empowered to raise themselves from the morass of hopelessness, as is their right.

“We are each and everyone are responsible for the world we inhabit,” and this approach allows us to fully accept this responsibility. We stop waiting for somebody else to solve our problems, and take the reins of our lives into our own hands.

Why have I not mentioned medical, and education? Here are areas, which can be handled by this approach, however, it is my belief they should not be required to be profitable, “They must be equal.” That is right equal for all humanity, for when that is the case we, for the first time, have established true competition. We then have a fair system which draws from the very best our society has to offer. Can you see what a remarkable society this can produce? The brightest and best become available for our advancement. What a tremendous asset, and furthermore, we have brought the social illnesses of, poverty, unfair education, envy, crime, and hatred, to their balanced level of existence. NO, we have not eliminated them, “all things are meant to exist, however, in a balanced society they exist in their manageable levels.” These illnesses can easily be identified, and handled without the tremendous drain they currently represent on our society. Balance, balance, balance, that is what we to need strive for.

For the first time America can begin to achieve her potential. This is a system built as all things should be built, from the ground up. When the foundation is strong, the structure can endure the test of time.

Oprah, this is fair, honorable, and so good for our society. Now we have taken the steps to accomplish the goals you have stated you want to happen. Like other firsts, founded in America, this too shall spread to the world. I hope you will join me in changing the world, for if we do not we are lost. An additional benefit of this approach is the fact a great deal of its expansion is founded on that which already exists. This reduces the burden on the earth’s resources to its lowest level of need, something of which we must be very aware.

I am not asking for equality of existence, because to the swiftest must go the race, yet all must compete. With this system in place, we then have a platform from which to accurately view our greatest concern…overpopulation, and an intelligent approach can be enacted to insure our longevity.

I pray I have shown the importance of viewing the picture, rather than the pixel, because every time we fail to do so only produces further fallout from our actions.

I am currently experiencing problems with my right knee, at my age to be expected. However, my belief is so strong this will not dissuade me, if walk I must, and then walk I will.

I am not crazy, and it should be apparent I am not stupid; I prefer to say I am committed, because until all are granted access to the table I cannot be satisfied. I do not care who takes credit, it is not about me, it is all about we. I have given my word that only death can stop my efforts, however, I do not think even that event can stop my words. More than four-thousand people have read my book, “Schizophrenic Rescue,” along with countless other writing on this concept.
