BIG PRIDE HATH A BIG FALL
I wish I was no more alive In this too selfish world, Where millions can be killed or hurt For simply a false word. I can never come to terms with That too monstrous a word: The Weapons of Mass Destruction. The whole thing is absurd. The one country that was in war Atomically vile, Also continues to amass Largest nuclear pile. And it attacks a free nation Full half a globe away, Blaming false WMD that Never saw light of day! But what is worst, it has no qualms, Nor any pangs of soul. It seems to be out to conquer, Rather, universe whole. I hope wisdom prevails yet and It learns this once for all: Megalomaniacs repent. Big pride hath a big fall. • Written in abcb, 8-6-8-6 format • Written for "Invalid Item" M C Gupta 11 April 2007
