As I lay upon my bed,
I fall fast asleep. I wake to hear a strange sound, Of something starting to creep. I close my eyes tight, afraid to see, The thing that scurries and moves. The sound begins to scare me some, Oh how I wish it would soothe. As I open my eyes in fear, I think my eyes spot a bat. As I lean over the side of my bed, All I see is my loving cat.
