A DANCING DOG
I wish that a dancing dog I get as a present Among the birthday gifts that Will to me soon be sent. Why I wish a dancing dog? Well, I’ll open a school, To teach dancing, along with My doggy with a drool. I will buy a hat for him And a golden stick too. For each of his two hands, I Will buy diamond rings two. Around his slender neck I Will put a silken tie. Just to touch and adjust it, All of my friends will vie. I and my dancing dog will Look always so special. The dance by me and my dog Will be a spectacle. • Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 format • Written for the The Silly Poems Contest , "Invalid Item" M C Gupta 12 April 2007
