Remembering Traci

I remember you

Like waking from a dream

The memories are distant

Yet fresh

Tangible

I can grasp them

If only I would reach

We were so young then

To young

Naive

I remember your kiss

Even now the memory of it

How I savored it

So urgent

Desperate

That hot endless summer

The freckles upon your chest

I counted each with my lips

Your skin

Exquisite
