Kentucky Hills V: I think of my home in the Kentucky hills. Where I lived as a boy allowed God's will. Life had a meaning on Sunday mornings. Going to country church down the road, To worship God with family and friends. I wonder why I left my country home, To live in the city for reasons unknown. In this world of sin it's a struggle to live in. C: Kentucky hills I hear you calling me, Sweet memories of when I was a boy. Kentucky hills where I lived a life of joy, I'll treasure the memories of pleasure. V: I would give away all the riches I have, To relive one day as a boy in my past. In those Kentucky hills of my youth, When I was to young to know the truth. How much I'd miss my country home, In the mountain hills if I left on my own. It's been said you can't go home again. That all changed from my life back then. B: But I can dream of how sweet life was, Living in my Kentucky hills home of love. Repeat Chorus: BY: Kings
