A Welcome Apocalypse
A little more emotional than I normally lean towards, but I liked the title.

It's a welcome apocalypse
we've been on fire for half a year
everything has got to go
you should know, it's a welcome apocalypse

Cause we can't begin again until the past is dust
until we've beaten and broken and stomped
and left each other broken on the ground
discarded in the past so the future can be

There's no room for forgiveness
until nothing's left to be forgiven
it's all dead, consumed in fire
and the dead shall walk no more

Us is a small word to forget
but this world we built is gonna burn
Summon the fire and brimstone rain
I can smell the sulfur on the heated wind

and you should know, it's a welcome apocalypse
