Losing the buffalo...losing life...

Dense buffalo herds once roamed the plains
Frantic lodge fires still await their claims.

         Ominous misty morning moments
Bring cause for sorrow and worry
         When awakening from dreams that lament
And remembering bison spirits are ghostly.
