A poem about censorship.

I’m no martyr,
I’m no saint
I’m not even great.

Free speech is a basic right
for all to enjoy.  Speak up
free speech, it isn’t trite!

All colors sacrifice life,
defending free speech,
dieing on the beach.

Free speech isn’t easy
hateful, vile, disgusting
it can make one queasy.

My opinion is my right
oppose me with all your might
it may cause fright or even a fight.

If you don’t like what you hear,
ignore it, pay it no heed,
it will disappear.

Precious is free speech
as a people it defines us
a right, do not breach.
