Two Faces
I sit at my window staring into space, Surrounded by beauty I only see one face. It's not a face I love, But a face I hate, I don't understand it; Is this to be my fate? Looking for my future, Smothered by the past; Everything looks sunny but feels overcast. It's easy to forget him and ignore the link... Now there are TWO faces I don't know what to think! There's the person I adore, The other- I don't know, The faces of two people; One my friend and one a foe. I'm going to ignore him, The first, unwanted face, Suddenly, everything has fallen into place. I see the face of my friend, Why was I so concerned? I should have known all along my feelings were returned!
