An evening in spring

A warm evening in spring,
with the feeling of summer.
People walk leisurely,
freed from thick winter dress.
Sounds dissolve in the sky.

Ah, the world feels so good,
promises of summer.
Yet spring with trees of green
lace and soft soothing hues,
brings enchanting beauty.

New life floating through me,
new life all around me.
Apple blossoms dancing,
the duckling-speckled pond.
And people smiling all.
