Where are you darling?
Spring has arrived with much mating.
This has not caused me sorrow.
You have shown me real love
Passion and compassion.
Our love will never die,
It will go on you'll see.
I saw two little birds that flew
Into the big fir tree,
Chattering their lovesong to each other.
Then the female, she flew out of the tree
To come and sit on my fence.
He was still up in the tree
Chirp, chirp, chirping for her,
Until they both flew up
Into the air together
They danced their lovedance
Between the big fir
And the alder.
