"And Me" A hero who kills himself A trusted friend betrays A soul mate that rots A love who hates A blood that bites And me. So much love, so freely given To have it spat back into my face Mucus and all. They need my love but are unable to take it, So redundantly, I persevere. I love and I give and I care and I cry, I share their pain and I carry their burden. I love too much, I give it away. In return I receive replicated rot. So pointless in my plight I can not help but try. It's fucking futile, But I love you.
