Sack Cloth and Sin
Sack Cloth and Gin, Weeping and wailing And shouting, “Sin! Sin!” I knew you’d bale. Too much delight, Too much love, Too much for you to handle The way you felt. The passion And desire We both felt. The difference is That you choose To see our loving As Sin While I Choose To See It As A Gift From God To You And Me, To Us. And choose to wrap My trash in Sack Cloth And drink The Gin.
