As Illusion Dies
A poem about somebody realizing everything was an illusion.

As illusion dies I see,
There's so much to be revealed.
This web of lies falls,
And truth is all that's here.

As you sit confessing,
My deepest darkest fears,
I fight through all the pain,
And I hold back all my tears.

Crying won't solve anything,
And neither will a fight.
So I'll numb my everything,
And make it through the night.

Crawl into my bedroom,
And tuck myself in tight.
Struggle through this nightmare,
And pray tomorrow's bright.
