Spring Storm Trees are bent -- some are broken, Flowers pelted by the rain. Winds sweep away words spoken, Rattling the window pane. Dark clouds surround my world, Thunder booms and quakes. Vulnerable leaves are swirled, Down the glass crawl water snakes. Lightning jumps, electrifies, Heavy rain drops spatter Now the storm intensifies, Causing birds to scatter. Wind whips and the flag snaps Storm slowly passing on; Flowers wilted and collapsed, Sun appears, bright as dawn. Colorful birds happily chirp, Flowers rise to meet the sun. Loosening its fateful grip, Finally, the storm is done.
