Science has unraveled
the code of life.
They look for a way
to relieve the medical strife.
Science is good but
science can be bad.
A terrible new weapon for
the government to be had.
A government plan, out with
the old and in with the new.
A genetic virus, just to kill
the old, that should do.
The virus is released and its
effects are truly deadly.
In no time it spreads
from sea to shining sea.
In their folly they overlooked
one code that was set wrong.
An entire population,
an entire race, gone.
