A Snoring Shadow

Did you ever see

a Shadow snore?

It is pretty hard

to ignore.

Do you think the noise

is very loud?

The answer is yes.

It can be heard in a crowd.

Have you ever seen

a Shadow dream?

It can be

quite extreme.

Barking and pawing

in its repose.

Calmly snoozing

and rubbing its nose.

Have you ever seen

a Shadow wake?

If it's in a bad mood

It is a mistake.

Have you touched

a Shadow's nose?

It is cold and wet

and will never close.

Have you ever

heard a Shadow growl?

When this happens,

it is on the prowl.
