                                          THE NIGHT SKY

The night sky, Oh what to say about it!
The beauty in which I bathe,
As the moon in its full youth,
Shines upon my face.
I feel the silvery light soothing my inner being.
The velvety star studded, shimmering sky,
Revealing its marvelous beauty to me!
The Great bear shining across,
The Saptarishis reaching out,
The Polestar overhead..
A feeling of purity, of untold mystery, unfolds in my heart..
My eyes float heavenwards,
A golden dream unknowingly takes birth..
If, If I could fly across this firmament vast,
With wings as long as Albatross!
Making a bid to freedom,
An escape to the world of peace and love,
A feeling so high, so pure, so divine,
Oh this night sky, what to say about it!!
