A quick Bloom
love, beauty, romance

You stemmed from a root so fragile and harmed,
broke through the earth with such force,
ready to bloom glory and pride without caution,
seasonal change brought remorse.
As your leaves began to turn and wither,
the reddened rust rose up the base,
your petals had darkened to grey,
autumn assumed you were erased.
But I brought you a blanket of warmth,
you had given me the aroma of peace,
I watered your soul with love,
and your beauty has never ceased.
