My Last Hour - High School Graduation
I wrote this during my last hour of my senior year.

The countdown is ticking
seconds pass by
this whole day is gone
within the blink of an eye

Now my last hour
is spread out before me
No more time for questions
No more tolerance for 'Good-Bye's'

Half a heart-beat later
and my hour is half spent
Is it any wonder
how fast this day went?

13 Years of Education
Soon to be behind me
The butterflies are tickling
My heart pounding within my chest

The clock speeds ever faster
sailing down the interstate
towards the unseen future
unsure of what awaits

Time barreling towards that finish line
Just a few more moments
and I will have passed that 13 year design
I  finally made it, I've gathered enough momentum
