You and I
It's a poem about love.

Us in this dream, it's too unbelievable to wake.
these butterflies you give me, I never want to shake.
Without you in this world, I am all alone
but when we are together, your arms are like my home

It's a movie star role, but with only us as the cast,
and the smiles that you send me, let all the bad things pass.
Your eyes are like my journey, with your hand acting as my guide,
Our love is like a roller coaster, too tempting NOT to ride.

Each love song that I hear, changes every thought to you.
I've always liked the rain, and now I hope you do too.
The words "I love you", are almost too little to be said,
'cause you mean more than anything that comes into my head.

So when at night I'm dreaming, and you're right there with me
It helps me now to know, you're all I'll ever need.
