Requiem
Ch. 4 the first battle

I made this as an anime idea so I own it. -__-
stuff in parenthesis are actions and Xinn is me the narrator/author.

(Asura charged at Kaito with his katana. Kaito dodged it by jumping backward and his claws grappled out of his arms toward Asura. Asura dives forward,trying to move out of the way of the claws, but gets scratched on his left arm.)

Asura: What the hell was that?

Kaito: As you could tell, I'm not human, at least not anymore, but I've made up for it with this body.(retracts claws) Thanks to my sister my soul lives on inside this puppet.

Asura: Puppet? So that's what you call that body of yours. Looks more like something out of a child's nightmare.

Kaito: Well, before I inhabited this body, I was a puppet master, I made my own puppets by hand, and controlled them with my esper powers.

Asura: esper powers? So that means you were once human.

Kaito: Well, enough talk, let's get back to the action. (Kaito jumps around wildly as he slashes away with his claws)

(Asura struggles, while deflecting the attacks with his katana. Kaito, Frantically strikes at Asura like a wild animal.)

Asura:Damn, He just won't stop, how the hell am I supposed to beat something that doesn't get tired?
My sensei taught me how to defend against regular attacks but, he never got to training me on the art of esper battles.

Kaito:( jumps back and with his claws ready.) Now to show you my true power as an esper.(his claws start glowing, then he slashes his claws releasing a wave of energy.)

Asura: (tries to defend but it sent flying back, and hits a wall.) Shit, so that was the power of an esper.
I was told by my sensei that the esper's power were much better than just plain weapons, but never expected to fight one by myself.(breathes heavily.)

Kaito: you're starting to bore me, so How about we finish this?
(charges at Asura, focusing his esper power in his claws.)

Asura:I never thought I'd have to use this but, you've left me no choice, I'll have to use the forbidden technique my sensei told me to never use. (closes his eyes and sheathes his blade.)


Voice inside Asura's head: Never use this technique, you were born with a great evil within you, but that doesn't mean you have to give in to it.(the voice echoes inside Asura's head as he finally opens his eyes.)

Asura: Now It's my turn! (as soon as he opens his eyes, they change from that which used to look human into eyes that resembled the Devil's. Suddenly it was as if time had slowed down, give Asura super fast speed. Asura's blade emits a demonic aura as he slashes away at Kaito.)

(time becomes normal again, as Kaito falls to the floor)

Kaito: Impossible, so you too have made a deal with the devil.

Asura: What do you mean?

Kaito: (out of breathe) My sister has the same ability as you do, the Devil's eye is a technique that can only be gained by making a pact with the devil. But yours are unique, no one I know has both eyes embedded with the power of the devil.

Asura: if that's the case I should probably get going and go help Teiichi.

Kaito: Wait, aren't you going to finish me off?

Asura: Nope, wouldn't be worth the effort. (walks away)

( Meanwhile, as Asura was fighting Kaito, Teiichi was busy with his own “problem”)

Teiichi: I wonder what that letter was about, I mean who would ever confess their love to me?
Something tells me this is a trick but I should still check it out, hope Asura can still be my friend for leaving him back there.( he steps onto the roof top and notices a figure sitting against the fence. The sunset is blocking him from seeing the person's face.)

Mizuki: Well, hello there, I see you got my letter.

Teiichi: yeah I did but who are you? And why did you give me that letter?

Mizuki: well if you must know, I am Hiyama Mizuki, and the reason for that note was to get you to meet me here.

Teiichi: I have no Idea who you are but okay? So why is it you wanted to meet me here?

Mizuki: that's easy, because we come from rival families.(changes to serious tone.) Your family and mine have been fighting for years to prove which family was strongest. I have a duty as a Hiyama to kill you. Besides it is someone from your family that killed my mother.

Teiichi:(Shock) I have no idea what your talking about I swear, but just because of some stupid rivalry doesn't mean you can hurt people. If someone from my family truly did kill your mother then, it was someone who I don't know, because I know that my mother or anyone else for that matter would do something like that!

Mizuki: You are to stupid to understand what I've gone through, so now prepare to die! With these chains and my esper power I'll kill you.( she has chains wrapped around he arms, as she says this she focuses her power into them causing them to strike Teiichi in the stomach.)


Teiichi: (yells in pain as he falls to the floor) Damn that hurt. (get back up but is hit again by Mizuki's chains.)

Mizuki: I won't show you any mercy, just like the person who killed my mother.(she launches her chains at him.)

Teiichi: (gets up once more and tries to jump out of the way, but Mizuki changes the direction of her chains hitting Teiichi once more. Teiichi is sent flying against a fence as he screams in pain.) I can't fight back, she's too fast, I have to get out of here.( Teiichi starts to make a run for the door but is hit once more,this time he gets his footing back and lands on his feet sliding away.)

Mizuki: just surrender and I promise to make your death quick.

Teiichi: I already told you, whoever it was who killed your mother , I have no association with. But if you continue to do this the I will fight back!

Mizuki: (angered by his words Strikes with all of her chains.) You die now you son of a bitch!

Teiichi: (Starts to run toward her) You leave me no other choice but to fight back! (clenches his fist and Tries to dodge the chains one-by-one as they try to hit him. He gets closer to Mizuki and jumps toward her, fist in the air.)

Mizuki: you expect to be able to hit me with just your fist? What are you stupid?( aims her chains to try and surround him. Teiichi's fist hits the ground barely missing her , but as it hits the cement crumbles beneath her feet.) How the hell?

Teiichi: (leaps back and land on the other side of the roof) I'm not as weak or stupid as you think I am. I also Have trained in many ways, before I only did it to stop bullies then I did it to gain personal strength. I am Izuma Teiichi, and I will not die here at the hand of someone who can't see the truth!


Mizuki: (starts to laugh maniacally) Then I guess I'll have to put out all the stops in order to beat you.
You see I have a unique ability that no one else has ever seen so you should feel privileged to even witness it. I was born with an unusual amount of blood, almost as if I had an infinite supply of it, but with the bloodline of both my parent I gained an ability that would soon make me a prodigy, you see I could control my blood completely. Not only that but I can also form it into a solid and back to liquid just like that.(she snaps her fingers.) So now I will show you a masterpiece of an ability.( she grins and blood starts dripping from her skin, soon there is a puddle of it on th ground.)

Teiichi: (amazed by the amount of blood that is coming out of her.) What the hell is wrong with her?
If what she says is true then she may be more powerful than I imagined. I sure hope this doesn't turn out to be my last day on earth.( Teiichi readies himself for a brutal battle.) Here goes nothing! ( focuses his strength into his fist and charges at Mizuki.)
