Requiem
Ch.5 the sun sets

I made this as an anime idea so I own it. -__-
stuff in parenthesis are actions and Xinn is me the narrator/author.

(Mizuki screamed as she focused her power into her blood, the blood leaped forward attacking Teiichi. Teiichi jumped back to escape. The blood formed into a drill as it tore away at the ground where Teiichi once stood.)

Teiichi:Holy shit! That some power.

Mizuki: And I've yet to begin to go all out.(she says this while laughing.)

Teiichi:(inside his head) How am I supposed to fight against someone with a power like that? I only know physical attack, and I've yet to understand her power. This doesn't look good for me.

Mizuki: Now it's time to end this. (she aims her blood to surround Teiichi from all sides. The blood leaps from all side in the form of blade. Teiichi tries to dodge them by moving around, but is hit by two of the five blades,his right leg and the side of his stomach.)

Teiichi: Damn! That blood of hers is just as fast as any ordinary weapon. She has complete control of it, almost as if it was part of her own body.( Teiichi look at his wounds) Thank god they're not that deep, other wise it could be fatal. Now is my chance to strike back.(Teiichi run forward dodging the blood blades and inches closer to Mizuki, ready to strike.)

Mizuki: You're not going to get me this time. (she surrounds herself in a shield of blood. As Teiichi's fist hits the barrier a shock wave fills the air from the force of his punch.)

Teiichi: (his body trembling from the impact his fist had on the shield.) Dammit it's even a perfect defense?!

Mizuki:That's right, and now for some more fun. (The blood shoots out needles the strike Teiichi, and send him flying back.)

Teiichi:(barely standing) There's no way I can win now, I can lay a hand on her. I'm going to die if this keeps up.

Mizuki: How does it feel to know that there is nothing you can do to prevent your death? Because that is how my mother felt when she was killed by one of your relatives. That is why I despise you and your whole family!

Teiichi: Revenge is never a good reason to fight!, You should only fight to protect the ones you love or for your own life.

Mizuki: how should you know, You've never lost anyone close to you!

Teiichi: You're wrong, I may have never been close to the person, but I too lost someone, even before I was born, My father died before I even got to know him, but he died doing what he believed in. Because of him I have lived my life through his morals, he believed in justice and peace, so he died protecting my mother. You see I am no different then you, but I choose to go down a path of justice not that of revenge!

Mizuki: That doesn't change anything I will not be tricked by your deceiving tactics! It's about time I end your pathetic life! (she forms her blood into a dragon and stirkes at Teiichi)

Teiichi: Damn, I don't have the strength to move.(Teiichi is struck by the Blood dragon sent soaring off the roof) This is it, my death. (Inside his head)

Mizuki:(grins) Finally it's over.

(suddenly the door opens and Asura comes running out. He notices that Teiichi is falling.)

Asura: No! Teiichi, I'm here to help! ( he runs toward Teiichi, but is stopped by Mizuki's blood wall.)What the hell is this?( he looks at Mizuki) Is she also an esper?

Mizuki: No need to save him he's good as dead by now.

Asura: You bitch! (if that's the case then I'll just have to avenge his death as well.(readies his blade.)

Mizuki: You may have beaten my brother but I'm much stronger.

Asuar: I don't care I'm doing this for Teiichi!

Distant voice: Why's that?!

Asura:Because he just died! ( he the look around to see Teiichi Standing on the other side of the roof.)
(shocked) What!? But I a saw you fall.

Mizuki: No way! You should be dead, how did you survive that fall?

Teiichi: How? Well to tell you the truth I don't remember. But I feel recharged, as if I was never in a fight at all. (takes a deep breathe.) So let's finish this fight.

Asura: Right and this time I'm here to help.

Teiichi: No! I have to do this on my own, it is part of being a hero.

Asura: since when were you a hero?

Teiichi: since I said so, now shut up and let me do this.( he looks at Mizuki) I will not lose to you, I will prove to you that revenge is the wrong way and justice is more powerful than anything else!

Mizuki: You sound like such a dork, I mean what kind of an idiot would say that?

Teiichi: This Idiot! (points to himself)

Asura: Truly an idiot.(sigh)

Teiichi: so her I go!(runs toward Mizuki) I'll give it my all!

Mizuki: He is an idiot, I mean he's tried this about three time already and they all failed. Guess some idiots never learn. (surround herself with a blood barrier.) Let's see what he does now.

Teiichi: Another blood barrier, what should I do? Guess I just have to trust in myself. (punches at the barrier, but this time his fist glows suddenly breaking the barrier.) What the hell?

Mizuki: No way!( she's hit by his fist and sent flying off the the roof)

Teiichi: (shocked) Oh no! Mizuki! (runs and jumps off the roof to catch her) I won't let you die!

Asura: You dumb ass! What did you expect to do jumping off like that?

Teiichi: (notices he's in the air falling) Crap, he's right (inside his head) Please god, help me any way you can. ( falls to the ground, but just as he hit the ground, an unknown light appears in his legs making him land perfectly.) Hey, what do you know it worked.

Asura: You're one lucky Bastard Teiichi. Wait there I'll be down in a second.(runs back inside)

Teiichi:(looks at Mizuki who he's holding in his arms and is unconscious) Wow, I only noticed it now but she's actually pretty beautiful.

Asura: (comes outside) So how is she?

Teiichi: She's fine for now, but what do we do about her?

Asura: Well, I guess we can take her to my house.

( they leave to Asura's house, Teiichi carrying Mizuki)

Teiichi: So Asura where do you live?

Asura: to tell you the truth I have no idea where exactly, but I remember the way I walked home so we should be fine.

Teiichi: That's odd, well I hope we get there soon so we can call her parent to pick her up.

Asura: Speaking of which, how are we going to explain this?

Teiichi: Don't know but, that is the least of are problems for now.

Asura: how did you survive that fall anyway?

Teiichi: I don't remember, I was passed out when it happened, all I know is that I was falling one minute, then on the roof in another.

( they finally arrive at Asura's home and enter.)

Misaki: What took you so long! (she enter the room yelling, then notices Teiichi and Mizuki on his back.) Oh hello, what happened here?

Asura:It's a long story. Hey Teiichi why don't you go home I'll take care of Mizuki.

Teiichi:Okay, I'll see you tomorrow. (puts Mizuki on couch, then leaves)

Misaki: so why is she here?

Asura: I'll explain later, I have to call her dad. (checks her bag and finds a cellphone, the searches for her dad's phone number, Then calls him.)

(after a conversation with Mizuki's dad he hangs up and put the phone back.)

Misaki: so what did you tell him?

Asura: I just told him we had an after school project,and she fell asleep.

Misaki: An after school projetc? On the first day of school? And he bought it?

Asura: seems so, well I'm taking a shower so later. (leaves the room)

Misaki: he's even weirder that I thought he was.(sigh)
