Mama's Dance
Went to a dance last Saturday night looked across the room and saw a terrible sight There was mama dressed up to the nines dancing with a man who was older than time They were twirling and swirling round and round when all of a sudden they both fell down Mama's hat flew north and her dress went south everyone stopped and opened their mouth The old man's shoe flew off and hit the wall his pants came down, but that's not all The music stopped, the crowd gathered round they both lay there together upon the ground In disbelief I stared and stood frozen by the door Mama's voice rang out from across the floor "You silly old fool, can't you take no for an answer, I told you I'm not a stripper, I'm a dancer.'
