Month of no Rain
Haiku? for Cramp about lack of rain.

A thing I miss so,
Patters of rain falling down –
Will flowers yet bloom?

All cloaked in crispness,
Dry the grass has turned to brown –
The crickets hum not!

Days gone by without
Quenching wetness to save lives –
Why is there still sun?
