Love's Majesty
Rated: E | Poetry | Contest | #1257923
The 1st poem I've written in a while but I think it was worth the 30 mins.
Love is majesty, a kingdom without dissent
And his kiss is still on your lips: warm and wet; pressing firm.

As for me, I can only metaphorically search to see your conveyances.

But I know that I can find the fire in your eyes
Those, the round glowing portals, so bright.

I am now given to merely that task, the seemingly lesser pleasure,
With which I find that your soul and your heart are still not mine;

No reward but the search and the discovery of sight
Are forth coming…

Your most charitable gift to me.
