Late Night Worries
About being a single parenting and the worries you have when your head hits your pillow.

It is hard being a mother and father both,
Two young children growing fast and wanting more.

Working and slaving to no end,
Wishing and praying for a change.

Wanting someone to share the load,
Such a worry and heartache it brings.

Wandering when it will be her turn,
To take care of herself and not worry.

It is such a burden to bear,
All the things on her mind that keep her awake.

The late night worries will not go away,
No rest for the weary, her mom always says.
