My favorite season two
a free verse poem about another favorite season, spring.

Spring is here
and the trees
are still naked
and the chill air
is still here
and the icecream
trucks pass by
streets waiting
for kids
to buy their
iced cream
that comes in
different flavors
for you and me
while the flowers
start growing
slowly from the
trees and plants
we all wait
for summer to
come and
be ready for the
next winter to be here
and start everything
all over again.
