Time has gone by since you said goodbye
Leaving me for that special place far beyond the sky
Sometimes i still cry at night
Even thought i know i shouldnt
I still ask the lord why
Did he take a way my mom and the love of my life
I pray that heaven is treating you right
cause thats my destination when im through with this so-called life
Thankyou for loving me
Your presence then absence has made me strong
Teaching me strength, courage and so much  more
Still it hurts for me to go on without you in my world
As tough as it might be
Im still striving to live right
By followings God's plan to lead me through
This chaotic life on earth
Just save me a spot in heaven
