Somewhere in the middle
Votes, vetos and those who cast them. Written in early 2007.

Somewhere in the middle,
we are being torn apart.
A vote on one side,
a veto on the other.
Your policies are shit,
and that is where we lay.
You show up on your planes
to shake our hands,
to build our spirit.
Only you turn around
and tell the world we cannot win.
Who the fuck are you
to say what we can do?
You tie up our life's blood
with you bikering.
Ammending pork barrels
to our bullets and bandages.
Protecting self-interest
in puddles of our blood.
Your handshakes are killing us.
Your lies will be the end of us.
