Master Of The Tree
The Boy looked up at a tree He noticed branches very high With the thought that I cannot reach them. If I climb them then I will fall. Then I will get hurt and cry. The Boy saw darkness on the ground When he took a glance quickly It resembled a monster As he ran pass quickly The boy yelled, “ do not grab me”. He realized this was only a shadow of the tree. So he laughed as he thought the branches were giant arms. He noticed his shadow with the tree. Now he said ,“ I am master of the tree”. He walked on the branches below. His footsteps climbed the shadow. While flapping his arms he was bird. It feels like I am up high on the branches. The boy feels so absurd. He realized this tree is so much fun. I love the shadows in the sun. Margaret Harrison
