Thanks Mom
A poem appreciating our Mothers.

We pause to celebrate, cherish our Mothers.
Who lovingly labored to bring life to another.
They recall our first acts, with fondness, pride
We thank them sincerely for being by our side.

Her eyes that see hope and beauty for two.
Her eyes reflecting values and love so true.
Her eyes looking out for our wants, needs.
Her eyes, tearful when we scraped our knees.

Her hands that gently held us to their chest.
Her hands carrying us tirelessly without rest.
Her hands disciplined when we needed it so.
Her hands firmly shaped the person we know.

Her feet that solidly stood so strongly there.
Her feet on the ground, while we in the air.
Her feet not once, did they ever stray away.
Her feet that stood firm, showed us the way.

We all love our Mothers; and rightfully so.
Mothers are special, we know as we grow.
So spend time with a Mother, Mother to be.
Show your heartfelt appreciation lovingly.
