Winter Evening
Something small

At the close of that winter evening
Stars drove our thoughts
Through clarity of air
And the slight drag of the world

In every warm vapor i saw
A future lost in your words
The circle of truth lit our way
Led in beats on strange paths

In the heavens we hung
Still from all motion
That takes us from focus
Leads us from that moment

At the close of that winter evening
I awoke to snow
Began to heal
And learned to feel
