I take my leisure on a rocky strand
Surf pounding the shore, an ageless fight Where Neptune wages war against the land Unbroken shield of Mother Earth's great might Air choked with the spray of ocean's ghosts Who haunt the surging tide pools at my feet And echo back along these rocky coasts The cries of love and lives left incomplete Black on black, a shell upon the wall Clings to the cliffs in spite of coming gale Defying Nature's strength it will not fall Though fate and fortune destine it to fail Who knows what mighty feats we may achieve If only with firm faith we would believe?
