Moon Goddess

I appear in the sky every night-
as darkness approaches and the sun goes down.
I sometimes can be seen among the stars.
The stars twinkle and I provide some light.

I watch over sailors and their ships all through the centuries.
I shine down on the ocean and watch the creatures of the sea.
I love how the lighthouses provide light to help the sailors.
What a pleasure to watch the mermaids and dolphins at play.

I have watched lovers consumate their love in the woods when
they are all alone.
I can be seen over the mountain tops and over looking lakes
and rivers.
I am the Moon Goddess and I rule the night.
I also cast a spell of love and hope among lovers.

Sometimes, the rain must fall and I can't be seen.
The fog will sometimes appear and I won't be able to show my moon beams.
Other times, it will snow and I may not always appear-
but this is the time I take human form.

I appear as a beautiful Celtic Goddess or Princess-
I watch over the land and provide protection.
I will only be seen at night.
With a faithful wolf at my side and sometimes I may-
have a unicorn or dragon at my side.
Fear not! I am the Moon Goddess and I have been-
around for centuries.

I love the land and this planet.
The knights have won battles at night.
I have seen heartache among the people.
I have faith and hope and I shine down upon the land.
The Moon Goddess is me and the moon is also me.
Don't worship me! Just enjoy my beauty
and I will provide light and beauty on a long night!
