        Reasons for the Iraq War

          Stop Saddam’s nuclear weapons program.

          Stop Saddam’s bio-weapons program.

          Stop Saddam’s chemical weapons program.

          Bring democracy to Iraq.

          Eliminate the Saddam / Al-Qaeda connection.

          Show the world that the US knows how to change an evil regime.

          Secure the oil and keep oil prices low for Americans.

          Saddam was evil. He tortured his fellow Iraqis.

          Demonstrate to the UN that we can go it alone.

          Train the Iraqis to defend themselves.

          Bring peace to the Middle East.

          Saddam was involved with the 9/11 attacks.

          Solve the Israeli / Palestinian problem.

      A foreign war is good for business – especially Halliburton.

          The world will love the US for eliminating an evil dictator.

          No one can mess with the USA!

          Iraqis deserve to live in a safe and secure country.

          A war will keep the Republicans popular and in power.

          Fight the terrorists there so we don’t have to fight them here.
