Spring
The rustling leaves heard in the trees
before the wind or passing breeze
arrives and chills like winter’s freeze.
The rays of sun blaze through the glass
but rains will come, the sun will pass
behind the clouds; the warmth won’t last.
Spring's arrived, but winter stays
to cool the air for those who play
and gaze upon spring's bright display.
The tulip fields of colors bold,
red and pink, plum and gold
to herald spring, they now unfold.
