You did not see the stars in my eyes,
but I could see your smiling face through the mist. Those twinkling eyes, I did not wish to drown in sorrow. Tell me dear, what shall I do? For you are so far and yet so near. I want to soak in the comfort of your arms, but something holds me back. I’m afraid my eyes wouldn’t be able to bear the warmth that you provide. It’ll turn the ice to water and you, my dear, will drown. I do not want to lose the hope, for in your eyes, I see my fate. So give me a little corner, and I’ll settle down there only to wet your eyes with mine.
