If you’ve ever wanted to know, the sound of a poem Two cups consonants, one cup vowels & thro ‘em Into your brain; shake well or beat with a stick Bake into a cake or simmer a stew, nice & thick Now add paper and pen, only if ur ol’ school Kids out there, use a computer, that’s ur tool Slit your wrist, pour out your heart, blood words mix Tell your story, straight true, to read is to transfix Now serve your write, hot over rice, or as a garnish This is my recipe, free to use but please don’t tarnish Should you try this at home, published, post mortem If you’ve ever wanted to know, the sound of a poem G~~~ 05/07
