Only in his Arms
Rated: 13+ | Poetry | Romance/Love | #1262846
An imagery of an intimate moment between lovers
Her body exploded into a million pieces,

Scattering, across the firmament of the sky

Fragments of her flesh mingled with the stardust

And they remained inert, but for a moment

as bits and pieces of her being, slowly glided

down towards the earth, where tiny birds

in a hurry to refurbish their nest,

for the coming winter,

gathered the bits and pieces as they fell.

She continued her slow glide,

effortlessly back into his waiting arms,

and laid there savoring the moment.

The feel of that moment,

so sweet.

To begin once more

the slow,purposeful journey

to ecstasy.

Only in his arms.
