Wind

The wind would whisper things to Judy. It whispered vile, horrible things sometimes. The wind was always there, speaking to her.

She really hadn’t wanted to kill Daddy, but the wind said he was bad. It whispered that Daddy was drunk again.

“He wont hear you. Go on.” She heard the wind whisper.

“But he loves me.” She said very quietly.

The wind picked up, lightning flashed a storm was coming.

“Is that why he hits your mommy?” the wind asked, “and you and little Jessie?

“He loves nobody!” The wind shrieked. “Kill him!”

She carried daddy’s gun up to his room. Mommy was crying in the kitchen. The gunshot rang out as the thunder crashed with deafening force.
