Upon A Shelf
about pictures

UPON A SHELF

Pictures upon a dusty shelf
living there all by themselves
worn out smile, faded eyes
finds the spot where memories lie

Little children now are grown
with a family of their own
taking pictures that will last
on a dusty shelf from the past.
