Stupid Girl
by Red
Rated: ASR | Poetry | Other | #1264047
Sometimes we cannot help ourselfs from doing what we know will hurt us.
You see him,
standing there,
leaning up agianst the car
smiling, waiting.

Stupid girl,
you knew this would happen.
You knew that
the moment you saw him,
he'd take your breath away.

You knew, and yet
you failed to change it.
You looked forward to this day.
It kept you going through the week.

Stupid girl,
you know the drama
this meeting would bring.
So why did you do it?

Why do you answer
everytime he calls?
Why do you smile
everytime you see him?

Stupid girl,
you will only get hurt.
So why do you continuously
welcome him back?

Everytime, without question,
you welcome him back
into your life.
When will you stop?

Stupid girl.
You will get hurt.
But you don't care.
Not now, not ever.
