PATHWAY TO LIGHT



Lord, help me to find the pathway to light,
to learn to forgive, not only others but myself
and redeem my spirit in your blessed eyes.
You, who knew me before my birth,
and you, who knows my every transgression,
Lift me up, Lord, and show me the way.

You have given us lifetimes in which we
will learn and grow, you have plucked us
from the pathway of darkness and
have brought each of us to the
pathway of light.

Lead me, Lord, to the pathway of light,
to feel the sunshine and forgiveness
and to take my hand in yours,
so that my sins will not devour me.
Savior and crystal of light in my life,
without you, I am nothing.

Precious redeemer, my faith and trust
is in you, you do not turn away.
The warmth of the sun shines brighter,
the skies are of Heaven's own blue.
I walk along the pathway, safe in your care,
forgiven and forever loved.
