Night

Night

I fall to shadows
In the darkness of night.
Immersed the shade
Encompass me;
With agony
My vicious bedfellow,
Screaming in my head
To lend some ease.
The worries of tomorrow
Lurk in my darkness,
Toned to colour
Bleached red the blood of me.
Stillness in the darkness
Floods my valley,
Calling out the need
To supercede.
Darkness in my cold
And bloody manor,
Lambaste pain
Drives me to my knees.
The anguish of my night
Beats on forever.
Seeking solace on the planes
Of life now left to me.
